Itinerary

Get day to day insight of the tour.

DAY 1 DELHI/GURUGRAM

This is our first stop, this is a Hight -Tech city. Our Tour starts after Break-Fast;we will meet the fellow visitors before starting our first day visit. Today we visit some of the very interesting place of the Capital of India.
During our tour today we witness the old and new culture mix, among the new skyscrapers you will also see the old architecture. Today among many interesting places we will also visit the famous Sikh Temple The Rakabganj Gurudwara and Gandhi Smriti where Gandhi ji was assassinated. We will have lunch at one of the interesting restaurants in Delhi.
On returning, after freshening up wewill meet and your Adventure Leader will explain you the detail about the tour. Have dinner at the Hotel.

  • Visiting Sikh Temple Gurudwara Rakabganj, Gandhi Smriti Museum, India Gate, Pass through Rashtrapati Bhawan, Connought Place etc.

Day 2 and 3 Kishangarh Rajasthan

Today we had to the Historic state – Rajasthan – Got the name from the Rajput community which is known for its bravery.Kishangarh a small but interesting princely state in Rajasthan – we stay here in the Maharaja’s Monsoon Palace situated on the bank of Gundalav Lake. This is our home for the next two days. Kishangarh is known for its Miniature Art You’ll notice in Kishangarh that the defensive fortifications are pretty intimidating! But even though the formidable fort walls and elephant spiked gates distinctly highlight the kingdom’s chivalrous past, the Maharajas of Kishangarh were the patrons of the arts and the area’s paintings. So while here, in addition to learning about life in old Kishangarh, we will have an introduction to the traditional Rajasthani art of painting including learning about its history, and artistic techniques that have been passed down for generations. The State founded in 1611 AD.and of course – enjoy plenty of its delicious local cuisines. 

Highlights of the Day:

  • Morning traditional yoga sessions at the palace (based on the early practice forms of yoga from its birthplace in India).
  • Stay for 2 nights in palatial rooms that ring of a bygone era at the lakeside Monsoon Palace of the local Royal Family.
  • Explore the old town of Kishangarh where we’ll learn about the local way of life and history of the different communities living here.
  • Special evening of traditional folk music and dance, followed by a traditional Rajasthani feast!
  • Explore the formidable Kishangarh Fort learning about the kingdom’s rich history.

Day 4 and 5 Jaipur the Capital of Rajasthan

After breakfast, we’re off to the capital of Rajasthan – Jaipur! The Pink City – whatever name Jaipur has its own charm. Enticed by the history – the kingdom has drawn people for centuries fromall over the world. The city was founded in the 1700s, though the history of settlements in the area dates back to the 12th century. Rich in history, arts and architecture; Jaipur’s unique design was built using Vaastu Shastra – the Indian version of Feng Shui. The desert terrain around the city consists of the rugged hills of the Aravalli Hills.

Over the next two days, we’ll explore Jaipur. Visiting Jaipur’s Royal City Palace, Jantar Mantar (the old royal astronomical gardens), and Birla Temple, Amer Fort.
Here we will have a chance to learn Cooking the local food.

  • Visit the awesome Amber Fort. The  Old Capital of Jaipur.Amber Fort is perched amongst rugged hills, It’s a massive Fort.
  • Visit to the local bazaar.
  • Indo-Chinese Lunch.
  • Visit Jaipur’s  Royal City Palace, Jantar Mantar (the old royal astronomical gardens), and Birla Temple.
  • Cultural Culinary cooking class where we’ll learn to cook up a Rajasthani feast.

Day 6 and 7 BHARATPUR & THE TAJ MAHAL

After Jaipur we’ll proceed for Bharatpur on the way visiting the famous Chand Baoli one of the biggest Step – Well in the country.– Bharatpuris known for the UNESCO protected World Heritage Site: the Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary National Park. After checking in to our hotel we will have lunch and then we’ll head into the national park. A haven of wetlands and forests, the sanctuary is home to over 400 species of birds and a wide variety of other wildlife. The next morning, after abreakfast, we’ll make our way into the neighbouring state of Uttar Pradesh to the city of Agra where we will visit India’s most famous landmark – the stunning Taj Mahal. This mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a tribute to his favourite wife, Mumtaj Mahal.After visiting the Taj, we will enjoy some delightful dosas at Agra’s best South Indian eatery. Then we will make our way to the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Fatehpur Sikri was built in the 16th century by Emperor Akbar. From Fatehpur Sikri, we’ll return to Bharatpur where you’ll have time to freshen up before we meet for our farewell dinner party on our last night in India together! 

Highlights of the Day:

  • Visit the epic Chand Baoli. Said to be the deepest and largest step-well in India. Chand Baoli dates back over half a millennium.
  • Explore the wetlands and learn about the abundant wildlife that calls the World Heritage Site protected Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary their home. A haven of wetlands and forests, the sanctuary is home to between 366 to over 400 species of birds including a selection of herons believed to be among the best in the world, and a wide variety of wildlife including over 27 species of mammals.
  • Take in the majestic and marvellous Taj Mahal! India’s one of the famous landmarks. The Taj Mahal was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.
  • Explore the richly historical ghost city and ancient Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri’s architecture is a combination of Islamic and Hindu elements, as Emperor Akbar was known as one of the most open-minded of the Mughal Emperors. Today it is listed as a World Heritage Site.
  • Special Farewell Dinner Party with drinks, snacks, and a feast of our favourite Rajasthani dishes for dinner.

DAY 8 DELHI/GURUGRAM
